Mission Live privacy notice

What Mission Live processes

Mission Live processes microphone or uploaded audio when you request captions, translation, or optional spoken audio. It may process transcript text, selected languages, Qur’an references, room codes, service usage, account email and display name, organization membership, and operational records needed for security and reliability.

How information is used

Information is used to provide captions and translation, protect verified Qur’anic text, deliver listener rooms, operate accounts and plan limits, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and improve reliability using approved consented testing. Mission Live does not use customer audio or transcripts for advertising.

Service providers

Speech, translation, and optional spoken-audio requests may be processed by configured providers including Deepgram, Google, and ElevenLabs. Hosting, structured records, and temporary Studio uploads use the deployment platform’s infrastructure. Final launch documentation will identify every processor, purpose, location, and contractual safeguard.

Retention

Live microphone audio is processed in short segments and is not intentionally stored by Mission Live. Temporary Studio uploads expire after approximately one hour and are deleted after processing. Live-room source captions default to 24 hours; ended room metadata defaults to 30 days; usage records default to 730 days; and administrative audit records default to 365 days. Organization plans may use an approved alternative policy. Provider-side retention must be confirmed contractually before launch.

Your choices and rights

Captions remain available without spoken audio. Device-local caption saving is optional and can be cleared in the app. Signed-in users can export their account data and initiate permanent account deletion from Privacy & recordings. Some limited records may be retained only where legally required, with the reason disclosed in the final policy.

Children and schools

Mission Live is not yet approved for independent use by children under 13. School deployments involving children require an approved institutional agreement, data-minimization configuration, appropriate notice and consent, and a legal review before activation.

Contact

The final operating legal entity, mailing address, privacy email, and regional representative information will be inserted before public launch.
